Northampton Christians United ❤️🔥
We exist to unite Christians on campus for the love of God and others, and bring back holy vibes on campus!! ⚡️
The origin story 👀
For too long, the Christian groups on campus were each doing their own thing (and low-key competing with each other 😬). BUT, struck by Jesus' prayer for unity in John 17:21-23, leaders from across the groups started meeting to pray, dream and plan together. Then BAM 💥 Christians United was born!
What we've done so far ✅
Our first event was an outdoor mass outreach with every Christian group on campus. 24 students joined us in the morning and 15 in the evening, from societies right across uni. Together we handed out 200-300 gospel tracts and Bibles, had around 100 one-on-one faith conversations, and led open-air worship while a real crowd gathered to listen. Just the beginning of what God wants to do 🙌
Freshers Week 2026: how it went 🎉
We helped freshers move in (with snacks, prayer and free Bibles), took water and prayer out to the clubs on Wednesday night, and packed out St Giles for "The Welcome" worship night. Then came the big one, the NCU Charity Cup ⚽🏆. 78 of you came and we raised about £300 for Street Child! It was a blessing seeing Christians from different societies come together to celebrate and have fun. But the real power was after, over food in the Engine Shed, when people shared testimonies of how Jesus changed their lives, with loads of non-Christians in the room listening. That's what it's all about 🔥
Coming up: Let There Be Light 🔦
Halloween night, Sat 31 Oct at St Giles. Doors 7:30pm, starting 8pm. Worship, prayer and evangelism training, then (if you’re up for it) we head out onto the streets 10pm-12am to share the light of Jesus. Never shared your faith before? Come anyway, we'll equip you. "Let light shine out of darkness" - 2 Corinthians 4:6
Find your group 🤝
There's diversity even in unity! Every group is different, so find the one for you: CLM Young Adults, Vine City, PENSA, Christian Union, St Giles' Young Adults, First Love, Potters House and KAN.
Pray with us 🙏
- For deeper unity between the groups and their leaders
- open hearts among students hearing about Jesus for the first time
- more people catching the vision and stepping up to lead
- and finances for future events.
